What we do
We map pest pressure to real Austin geography. The limestone Hill Country to the west grows different problems than the Blackland Prairie clay to the east, and a page that ignores that difference is not much use to anyone. Every neighborhood brief and every guide is rooted in the ground it describes.
We also do the unglamorous part: reading the licensing records, the university extension research, and the public health data so that our readers do not have to.
What we are not
We are not a directory of fifty interchangeable companies, a national comparison mill, or a pest encyclopedia disconnected from Austin. We focus on the decision in front of a real homeowner: what is this, does it need a professional, and if so, who.
